Heel stays planted

I used to slide in trainers on squat day. Switched to these weightlifting shoes three months ago for evening sessions. The rigid sole and heel cup keep me stacked. Only gripe is they take a week to break in. After that, heavy triples feel honest. I used to slide in trainers on squat day. Belt sits right

I had a cheap nylon belt that dug in on deadlifts. This leather one has been on for two months, four sessions a week. Thicker in the middle, thinner at the ends, so I can still breathe. Looks sharp too. Four stars only because I wish I had sized up sooner. I had a cheap nylon belt that dug in on deadlifts. This leather one has been on for two months, four sessions a week. Sleeves on squat day

I used thin sleeves before and they rolled. These 7mm ones have been in my bag since January. Warm-up, then they stay put through heavy squats. Neoprene is firm but I can still walk between sets. Measure your knee. Fit matters. I used thin sleeves before and they rolled. These 7mm ones have been in my bag since January. Warm-up, then they stay put through heavy squats. Wraps for press work

Cotton wraps for bench and jerks. I used to skip wrist support and regret it after 80kg. These have been in rotation for six weeks. Breathable, long enough to wind tight. They loosen a bit mid-session so I re-wrap once. Still worth it. Cotton wraps for bench and jerks. I used to skip wrist support and regret it after 80kg. These have been in rotation for six weeks. Whole kit, one language

I bought shoes first, then belt and sleeves. Training Olympic lifts twice a week for four months. Everything feels like it was made for the same job: stay stable, stay precise. No fluff. Gym lighting, chalk, work. That is the point. I bought shoes first, then belt and sleeves. Training Olympic lifts twice a week for four months.
